Welcome to the Oakville Ridna Shkola website – where you will find a wealth of information about the exceptional educational opportunities available to your child at our school!

Oakville Ridna Shkola is a Ukrainian language, culture, and heritage school in Oakville, Canada, for native Ukrainian speakers and Ukrainian as second language children ages 4 to 16. The school also provides cultural and community awareness for parents wishing to have their children learn about their Ukrainian heritage.

The vision of the school has always been to provide a caring, supportive and positive environment for learning Ukrainian as a second language and heritage that is open to children of all skill and language levels from JK to Grade 8, as well as high-school students.

Over the years, hundreds of our children have benefited from a gentle and loving presentation of the cultural heritage of our community. We look forward to creating many more memories in the years to come.

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is OPEN for students from JK to grade 8.

***Registration for KURSY (Ukrainian Studies credit course) will be separate. Instructions will be sent in September.

You can register your child(ren) to our Ukrainian Saturday program for the 2024-2025 school year now.

2024-2025 Program Registration Update

  • A $25 student activity fee will be collected through School Cash Online that can be found on the registration form.
  • First day of Saturday school: September 21st
  • Starting this September, Ukrainian Saturday school will be located at St Nicholas Catholic Elementary School: 477 Warminster Drive, Oakville, ON L6L 4N4

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have previously registered your child(ren) ONLINE for Summer 2024 and/or Fall 2023-2024 with us, they are returning students, you choose: Sign In.

NEW students: You need to create an account: Create Account.

You will be asked to provide the following information when registering your child(ren) online:

  • your child’s OEN#= student # (OEN # has 9 digits) and the grade your child will be attending in 2024-2025; your child’s day school and school board names;
  • your contact information – name, phone, email, home address.
  • To choose the language: Ukrainian.

2024-2025 Saturday classes:

Classes will run 9:00-12:30 at St Nicholas Catholic Elementary School (477 Warminster Drive, Oakville, ON L6L 4N4)
