Oakville Ridna Shkola encourages participation and contribution to school spirit. The school offers interaction with children from various Ukrainian communities in Halton Region and beyond. This program is suited for children of Ukrainian heritage who may not regularly speak Ukrainian at home. Families participate in cultural activities with their children preserving cultural traditions.
The enriched and customized curriculum, taught by qualified teachers, stimulates and challenges students to demonstrate a sense of responsibility towards learning and to achieve their personal best. Our students are given a solid foundation for the following level of Ukrainian education at Kursy (Secondary Level Studies) Program.
Musical and dramatic productions, Ukrainian Holidays celebrations, field trips, Ukrainian dance classes add to the engaging and lively atmosphere of our vibrant school community. By discovering their own talents and strengths, students become positive contributors to school life and the community.
